Harold McMillan has been recognized as Germany's favorite NFL commentator, gaining popularity through his engaging presence on platforms like DAZN and NFL Game Pass. An avid football fan and former player, Harold seamlessly transitioned to commentating, where his passion shines. In addition to being the voice of NFL games, he serves as the stadium announcer for the Paderborn Dolphins in the GFL, showcasing his commitment to local football.
Born in Hesse to an American soldier and a German mother, Harold holds both German and U.S. citizenship, reflecting his diverse background. Despite his success in sports commentary, he balances it with a regular career, a common practice among his peers in Germany, where NFL commentators typically earn less than their American counterparts.
From insightful interviews and game reports to trivia and fan club highlights, Harold's blog, "Beim Football," offers a rich resource for NFL enthusiasts, fostering a deeper connection with the sport and its community in Germany.
