YAPms

YAPms, short for Yet Another Political Map Simulator, is an online platform for creating and sharing maps of countries around the world. It offers map templates for elections, legislatures, administrative regions, and historical results, helping users visualize political data across many geographic areas. Coverage includes the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and numerous European, Asian, African, and Latin American countries, as well as world maps.

Users can explore templates for presidential, parliamentary, senate, house, gubernatorial, and regional elections, with options spanning current and past contests. The site also features state, provincial, county, and municipal maps, alongside historical election collections and fantasy map projects. For custom projects, users can load compatible GeoJSON or shapefile data, merge multiple files, or import an SVG that follows YAPms standards.

Maps can be exported as SVG files, and the interface includes theme choices such as light, dark, and high-contrast styles. By combining ready-made geographic templates with tools for custom map creation, YAPms serves people who want to build, examine, and share political maps
