Your questions, answered
Does Brandfetch see our documents?
No. Claude sends only the brand lookup: a name or a domain. Your deck and everything else in the conversation stay in Claude.
How do we deploy it across the org?
An admin adds the Brandfetch connector in Claude's admin settings once and everyone in the workspace inherits it. Add *.brandfetch.io to the network allowlist in the same pass so every user can download assets.
What formats do we get back?
SVG wherever it exists, with PNG conversions for everything else. Full lockups, symbols and icons, in light and dark variants, plus brand colors and fonts.
How is it billed?
Each brand fetch is one credit. The free plan includes 100 fetches to start, and paid plans from $99/month include 2,500 a month. MCP requests draw on the same credits as the API, so there's nothing extra to license.
Which other AI tools does this work with?
Any MCP client. The same connector works in Claude Code, VS Code, Codex, Cursor and Windsurf. One entry, and every agent in that client can call Brandfetch.
What if I can't change Claude's network settings?
You should be able to find it if you’re under Pro plan. If you’re under team plan, you will need to request your admin for the allowlist access. If you’re under free plan, you will not be able to change it, but you can still add the connector.
How current is the data?
Requests trigger a background refresh if a brand hasn't been re-crawled in three months. Claimed brands are maintained by their owners, and our QA team tracks rebrands as they happen.
